Anubis

This god was very famous among the Egyptians. They thought that he was the god of the dead. The appearance of god Anubis, was so interesting, in the sense that, this god had a human body, but he had a jackal. Besides Anubis, there was another god of death named, Osiris in Egypt. History shows that many Egyptians worshiped Osiris more than Anubis. However, Anubis was also worshiped by the Romans.

Horus

Horus was another god of Egypt. According to the historians, Egyptians worshiped this god for discipline. This god was similar to the Roman god Mars who was the god of discipline and war. This god was less aggressive according to the Egyptians.

However, Isis was a very famous goddess among Egyptians. She was worshiped for motherhood and as a symbol of a wife. Do you know the history of this goddess? Well, it is very interesting. According to historians, Isis was the wife of Osiris who was the king of Egypt. The brother of Osiris murdered him and his wife goddess Isis, tried to rescue him. She fought with them so as to save the life of her husband. Thus, she was the symbol of motherhood and wife.
